We are looking for members to be a part of our 2019 Board. There are many perks for being on the Central VA ENA Board... Not only do you get a better idea of how ENA works, but you also get financial support to attend the ENA State and Chapter Leaders Conference as well as the ENA Annual Conference (available for first three positions below)! It is also an excellent resume builder and networking opportunity.
Listed below are the available positions of the board, as well as a brief description for each.
President-elect: Serves in the place of the President as need arises and is prepared to fully assume duties of President the following year (duties for President: Serve as executive officer for the chapter, ensure national standards are met, coordinate local board meetings and chapter activities and attend state council meetings).
Secretary: Prepares and keeps minutes of all board and member meetings, maintains attendance of all meetings, distributes minutes to board members prior to next meeting and makes minutes from previous member meetings available at each monthly meeting.
Treasurer: Collects all money, pays bills in a timely fashion, produces monthly financial statements for the board and produces the year-end financial report.
